IMPORTANT: Please note that iCODEHOP does not support any other browsers besides Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0, Mozilla/5.0, and Firefox >= 2.0. It is known to not work on old versions of Internet Explorer (<= 6.0) and Safari and one person reported that it does not work with Internet Explorer 9.0. Some have had success with Google Chrome but it is not a supported browser at this time.

Welcome to the iCODEHOP suite of tools to help you design degenerate PCR primers.

From here you can:
 Choose this if you want to run iCODEHOP without saving data on the server. Any data you acquire during primer analysis will be deleted from the server when you close your browser or switch computers. You will have the option to save your data to file for later import into a named session. (?)
Do this if you want your iCODEHOP data safely stored on this server for the next 72 hours and accessible from any other computer or browser. This provides greater protection from loss of your data and makes it possible for you to share your analysis with others. Also, you can import data from any previous sessions that you have on file. (?)
Restore data from an session currently stored on this server. The session will be present if you have accessed it at any time in the last 72 hours. (?)

iCODEHOP is written by Richard D Boyce, Department Biomedical Informatics, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, USA. iCODEHOP uses a modified version of the original CODEHOP program written by Jorja Henikoff. Annealing temperature calculations are predicted using a program written by Tobias Mann. iCODEHOP was written using the Webware for Python Web application framework and the Rialto client-side Javascript widget library.
